1. Welcome & Leadership Letter

As-Salaamu βAlaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh,
All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and peace and blessings be upon our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), his family, and companions. We warmly welcome you to Atlanta Central Community.
We consider it a sacred trust (Amanah) that you have chosen our institute for your child's Islamic and academic education. Atlanta Central Community was founded on the vision of cultivating grounded Muslims who memorize, comprehend, and embody the Quran and prophetic Sunnah.
This handbook establishes clear standards, behavioral expectations, and operational policies to foster an environment of reverence, safety, and scholarship.
2. Mission, Vision & Core Values
Vision: To cultivate generations of grounded, practicing Muslim leaders, Quran Memorizers, and scholars who embody prophetic character (Moral Character & Ethics), excel in modern academics, and actively uplift the wider community.
Mission: To provide an inspiring, nurturing, and disciplined educational environment where classical Islamic scholarship, Quranic Recitation & Phonetics-certified Quranic memorization, and state-accredited academic schooling coexist in complete harmony.
The Four Core Pillars
- 1. Sacred Islamic Knowledge (βIlm): Authentic pedagogy rooted in Quran, Sunnah, and classical jurisprudence under qualified male and female Instructors.
- 2. Academic Distinction (Najah): State-accredited schooling ensuring college readiness, STEM competency, and high GPA achievement.
- 3. Character Formation (Holistic Mentorship & Development): Instilling modesty (Haya), humility, discipline, compassion, and ethical integrity.
- 4. Community Service (Khidmah): Fostering civic responsibility, brotherhood, sisterhood, and deep attachment to the Community Mosque & Center.

4. Admissions, Tuition & Financial Policies
- Enrollment: Applications submitted via darulimaanatl.org/admissions.html with student interview, birth certificate, Georgia Form 3231 immunization records, and signed handbook agreement.
- Tuition Schedule: Billed monthly on the 1st, processed by the 5th via automated ACH direct debit or Zelle (
donations@darulimaanatl.org). A $25 late fee applies after the 10th. - Discounts: 10% discount for the 2nd child; 15% discount for 3rd and subsequent siblings.
- Financial Assistance: As a 501(c)(3) non-profit, confidential need-based aid is available upon submitting financial verification to
finance@darulimaanatl.org. - Withdrawal: Written 30-day notice to
admin@darulimaanatl.orgrequired. Current month tuition is non-refundable.
5. Arrival, Dismissal & Parking Safety
- Morning Drop-off: Doors open at 7:45 AM. Classes begin promptly at 8:00 AM. Evening students arrive between 4:45 PM and 4:55 PM.
- Parking Flow: Parents must follow the one-way loop at 9330 Nesbit Ferry Rd. Never park in fire lanes or block the main entrance.
- Authorized Pick-up: Students are released only to verified individuals listed on the authorized pickup form.
- Late Pick-up Fee: Supervision is provided for 15 minutes post-dismissal; a fee of $1.00 per minute per child applies thereafter.
6. Attendance, Punctuality & Leave Requests
- Excused Absences: Medical illness or family emergencies reported to
admin@darulimaanatl.orgby 7:30 AM. - Tardiness: Arrival after 8:15 AM (Full-time) or 5:10 PM (Evening) is marked Tardy. Three (3) tardies equal one (1) unexcused absence.
- Unexcused Absences: Three unexcused absences trigger a mandatory administrative conference.
7. Islamic Uniform & Grooming Standards

8. Sabaq Logbooks & Home Preparation
- Daily Logbooks: Every Quran Memorization/Foundational Academy student carries a physical logbook recording Sabaq, Sabaqi, Manzil, Quranic Recitation & Phonetics, and conduct remarks.
- Parent Signature: Parents must listen to their child recite daily and sign the logbook each evening.
- Screen-Free Nights: Parents are strongly advised to eliminate television, video games, and recreational screen use on school nights to protect Quranic memory retention.
9. Code of Conduct & System of Discipline

10. Electronic Devices & Social Media Policy
- Cell Phones & Smartwatches: Strictly prohibited during school hours. Unauthorized devices will be confiscated, secured in the office, and returned only to a parent with a $25 fee.
- Emergency Calls: The office phone is dedicated for all student-parent emergency communications.
- Social Media: Disparaging students, teachers, or the institution on public social media forums is grounds for immediate dismissal.
11. Grievance & Conflict Resolution Protocol

| Step 4 | Board of Directors | Request a formal hearing before the Board of Directors (board@darulimaanatl.org). Decision is final. |
12. Parent & Student Agreement Form
I, the undersigned parent/guardian, hereby acknowledge that I have received, thoroughly reviewed, and agree to abide by all policies, schedules, dress codes, academic requirements, and disciplinary procedures set forth in the Atlanta Central Community Parent & Student Handbook.
